Course Summary
Holyrood Insight’s Coordinated Support Plans online training provides expert guidance on how to effectively use a CSP to support a child or young person with additional support needs.
Effective implementation of CSPs is rooted in strong collaborative working, however there are inconsistencies in how education and other agencies work together to identify, deliver and review the support required as part of a CSP, within the additional support needs (ASN) planning process. This interactive course provides best practice on effective multi-agency working to support the implementation and delivery of CSPs.
Understand which children and young people must have a CSP and their rights to support under a CSP. Learn how to request a CSP and your role in the assessment, drafting and reviewing of CSPs. Take this opportunity to share best practice around multi-agency working and make sure you are using CSPs in the right way and involving children and young people in planning their support.
Join us to share ideas on using available resources to offer effective solutions for children and young people with ASN. Understand the eligibility criteria for CSPs and what options are available for those who need different types of support.
Leave the day with a clear understanding of the purpose, application, and use of CSPs, as well as their professional role in the ASN planning process.
