Event Summary

Menopause can have a significant impact on women at work. Therefore, it is crucial that employers across Scotland are prioritising the health, safety and wellbeing of women in the workplace.

The conversation around menopause is growing, but there is still work to be done across the country to keep up the momentum and improve support for menopausal and peri-menopausal women at work.

Holyrood Insight’s popular Menopause in the Workplace Conference returns this March to share practical insights to help you become a menopause friendly employer.

Bringing together leading employers from across the Scottish private, public and third sectors, join us to hear how you can create an inclusive workplace culture and provide meaningful support. As a leader, it is crucial you feel equipped to manage conversations with understanding and sensitivity. We will demonstrate how you can create a culture of psychological safety in the workplace.

Firstly, you will understand how to implement a menopause policy that is appropriate for your organisation – one that will demonstrate your commitment to women’s health. Then, we will outline your legal responsibilities and reasonable adjustments that you can make. Finally, learn how to improve flexibility for staff and find out how you can protect the health, safety and wellbeing of staff.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to learn, share ideas and network with inspiring women across Scotland. Make sure you are championing menopause friendly policies in your workplace.
